The National Spring Clean campaign is Ireland’s largest anti-litter initiative organised by An Taisce and funded by the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government.

Westmeath wins e-Government award for online services

A large group of international tour operators and buyers visited Kilbeggan Distillery and Old Locke’s Distillery Museum on a familiarisation trip to the Midlands. The group are in Ireland to attend Meitheal 2011, the annual travel trade workshop organised by Fáilte Ireland, in conjunction with Tourism Ireland. Meitheal is one of the largest tourism trade workshops and the most important event of the Irish tourism calendar.
